The regional partner for the Good News House group is Habitat for Humanity of Huron Valley(HHHV). Without their help, we would not be able to accomplish our goals. HHHV is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that works to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for hardworking and deserving families in Washtenaw County. They build and renovate homes in partnership with families who demonstrate need and a willingness to work with Habitat to purchase a home of their own. With the help of thousands of supporters, this summer they are celebrating the creation of 100 homes! This means 100 families in our community will have achieved the dream of affordable homeownership - including our 19 families! Learn more about our local affiliate at www.h4h.org.
The Habitat ReStore is a 15,000 square foot home improvement warehouse that sells new and gently used building materials, furniture, appliances, and all of the products that you need to update, maintain, and furnish your space.
