The Good News House Committee is a non-profit group affiliated with Habitat for Humanity.  Its purpose is to build a house or rehabilitate one or more houses each year for a deserving families in Washtenaw County.  The 19 local churches listed here constituted the 2010 Good News House sponsoring organizations.

As sponsoring organizations, each congregation is responsible for securing its share of the money and volunteer support needed to complete the year's projects.  Each organization must also provide a representative to the Good News House Steering Committee, which meets on the third Monday of each month to coordinate the many and varied tasks involved in the renovation projects and in coordinating with the Huron Valley Habitat for Humanity affiliate.
